Toolbox Card for Dad

Hi Everyone! Julie here! It has been such a long while since I posted. I am sure that you have heard by now that my mother has terminal brain and lung cancer. She moved in with me and we have been getting everything situated so that she will be comfortable as possible. For today's card, I used
Happy Everything from CardzTV Stamps. The card base is from My Scrap Chick called Toolbox Card. I love how darling it turned out.

I have a sweet story when I was making this card. My mom was downstairs and decided to come up and see me. She knows it makes me nervous when she attempts the stairs by herself, but she is stubborn and did it anyway. LOL She said that she wanted to watch me make it. Even though her eyesight has been damaged from the brain surgery she can still see about 50 percent. I showed her each piece as I was gluing it and we sang Josh Groban as we created it. What a special memory. I was supposed to give it to my dad, but sshhh....don't tell. I a keeping this one. XOXO, Julie. :0)
