Smile with Flowers

Hi Everyone! Here's another card that I made for the Eye's on the Prize ladies. This one was made with a DCWV pre-printed card. The rectangle card stock in burgundy was from an extra scraps that I had. Sorry I don't have the name on that one. Can you tell that I am trying to clean up my scraps?!! The pink polkadot rectangle was also a crap that I thought went really cute with the card. I also added a square white piece to add some visualness(not sure if that is an actual word!) to the card. The smile and small flower were cut from the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge and the large flower was cut from the Accent Essentials Cricut Cartridge. The pink organza ribbon is from www.reasonableribbons.com. The heart brad was from Michael's Craft Store. Thank you all for looking. :0) Julie.

PS I love comments!

  1. Do you ever do challenges on other card blogs? it is a great way to get comments and followers. I usually do a lot of challenges and now I have 73 followers. Sometimes I get almost two hundred visits in one day.
My brother has been real ill (end-stage liver disease with ascites) and I haven't really been in the mood to do challenges, but I am hoping to get out there today.
That and leaving lots of comments on other people's blogs brings them to your blog too.
If you go to my blog and see the links down the side bar, you can see a variety of challenges. It is a great way to meat a lot of ladies, and maybe some support for your cause? Just an idea. If you have any questions shoot me an email.
PS I win prizes once in a while to, once I won a whole Quickutz Alphabet set worth about $100.00
    Have a GREAT DAY.
Your card is really pretty, I love the paper you used.

  2. Hi Kristen-

I am sorry to hear about your brother. I will keep you in my prayers and him too. :0) I just LOVE your advice. You are the best. I had never thought of doing a challenge. I try to stay active on the Cricut and Split Coast Stampers board, but never thought of doing a challenge. I am hoping that with the HD camera that I just go that I will be able to tape demo movies. I also thought it would be really cool(if they will allow me) when I go to hand deliver the cards(this next month's challenge will be a local one) then I could go in and video tape delivery them. If they won't allow that(perhaps patient privacy act) then maybe I could get a photo. I think it's important to see things full circle..meaning I post the mission for the month, the gals and guys(yep we have some!) will make the cards, I send them off with a note(or hand deliver in some cases) and follow up with either a note, email, photo, or video and post it to the blog. I do have some questions on the challenges so I'll get an email together and send it to you. I love the prizes idea. Who doesn't just LOVE prizes?? Have a terrific day! It's almost Friday! :0) XOXO Julie.
